Former Columbus Mayor Greg Lashutka appointed Mr. Show in 1995 to a panel tasked with the creation and development of The Rocky Fork-Blacklick Accord Plan, a nationally recognized joint land use and development plan between Columbus and New Albany. Once the panel‘s work was completed in 1997, Lashutka appointed Mr. Show again to The Rocky Fork Blacklick Accord Implementation Panel where he was elected as the Accord Panel‘s first co-chair. Mr. Show was re-appointed to the post by Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman in 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2007. He continues to serve as The Accord‘s co-chair and will retire in 2010 due to term limits.

In 2007 Andy Show was appointed to the then newly created Smart Growth Coalition which finished it's report in June of 2008.  The SGC looked at ways to balance, develop and sustain commercial and residential interests as well as fostering more green open space, parks, trails and recreational opportunities.
