Columbus continues to place well in “best of” lists, with USA Today naming Columbus as one of the top cities for Millennial college students. The list considers the economic and social opportunities presented in various cities, as well as their educational and cultural strengths. The study included 43 cities with populations over 400,000.
We’re happy to say that Columbus came in at #7 out of 15 top-ranked cities. Columbus scored well for having low unemployment, a reasonable cost-of-living, low commute times and abundant entertainment. Columbus also placed well for its public transportation and strong collegiate presence.
Columbus also has aesthetics to brag about, according to Thrillist Media Group. The Victorian Village neighborhood was recently named among the 10 Most Beautiful Neighborhoods in America. The variety of stylish architecture found in Victorian Village, along with the scenery and amenities of Goodale Park, were named as outstanding features.
