It’s time to welcome summer to Central Ohio! Our numerous festivals and community events contribute to the fine quality of life we enjoy in Metro Columbus. Here’s a sampling of June events to help you get summer off to a great start!
Blooms & Butterflies, Franklin Park Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, Columbus. All summer long, experience the splendor of hundreds of colorful butterflies in flight, surrounded by plants and blooms. New butterflies are released during presentations each day at 1 pm and 3pm.
Granville Farmers Market, Downtown Granville, Saturdays from 8:30 am – Noon. One of the finest farmer’s markets in Ohio! Showcasing over 60 vendors offering locally-produced specialty foods, seasonal fruits and vegetables, baked goods and more.
Bexley House and Garden Tour, June 5, 10 am-4 pm. Stroll through 10 unique homes and private gardens, while enjoying the talent of local artists. Admission fee required; proceeds benefit the Bexley Woman’s Club Scholarship Fund.
Columbus Arts Festival, Riverfront. June 10-12. This popular Columbus event features talented artists from around the country and the world. Enjoy great food and six stages of live music and entertainment. Fun and activities for all ages!
Creekside Blues and Jazz Festival, Gahanna. June 17-19. Enjoy over 90 hours of live music, and savor a variety of tempting food including bbq, Cajun, Jamaican and classic favorites. This is a complete shindig with adult beverages, family activities and amusement rides. Come for the music, stay for the weekend!
Grove City Wine & Art Festival, Grove City Town Center, June 18. Enjoy tastings of Ohio wines, or indulge by the full glass. Browse and shop artistic creations in a variety of mediums. Delicious food and live entertainment.
Empty Pockets Cruisers Car Show, Hilliard Historical Village. Featuring vintage cars and trucks, tours of the authentic 1800’s historical village, live music, food and beverages.
