Greater Columbus Cherry Blossom Festival (March 24–April 15): 1755 E. Broad St., Columbus. Enjoy the beauty of blooming cherry trees along with exhibits, live entertainment and family activities. Free admission!
Equine Affaire (April 10–13): Ohio Expo Center. A premier horse exposition featuring competitions, entertainment, trade show, retail merchandise and educational programs. Tickets required, see website for details!
OhioHealth Capital City Half & Quarter Marathon (April 26): A popular 5k race and marathon through downtown Columbus neighborhoods. Different options for runners and walkers. Register in advance for swag bag and the after-race party!
COSI Science Festival (April 30–May 3): Ohio’s largest science festival, culminating in the Big Science Celebration! Hands-on experiences and entertainment for the whole family.
Cinema Columbus Film Festival (April 30–May 4): A showcase of independent films from around the globe! See website for venues and show times.
Ohioana Book Festival (May 3): 274 E. First Ave., Suite 300, Columbus. Celebrate Ohio’s literary best with author and illustrator panel discussions, book fair and more!
Central Ohio Folk Festival (May 3–4): 9466 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center. A family-friendly event with dozens of live folk music concerts and workshops.
Columbus Asian Festival (May 24–25): 1755 E Broad St., Columbus. An exciting celebration of Asian culture with live performances, dragon boat races, food, and exhibits.
Utica Old Fashioned Ice Cream Festival (May 24–26): Take a country drive to Utica for a classic shindig. Downtown parade Saturday, car show Sunday, kids activities, live music, and ice cream!
Columbus Arts Festival (June 6–8): A celebration of visual arts, live performances, and delicious food along the scenic Scioto Mile.
